This is an obsolete US Deputy Marshal 10K Solid Gold badge.

It is a custom die struck central Masonic star in wreath with enamel devices and a separately applied enameled gold banner.  It is slightly curved. There are 10K gold content and Tiffany N.Y. maker marks.

This badge predates WWI and has been long out of service.  It does not resemble any current design.

It measures 2-1/4 by 1-3/4 inches.  It weighs approximately 26 grams.

Pennsylvania Ordnance Works US Rubber Company High Explosives Fire Department STERLING Badge

Pennsylvania Ordnance Works U.S. Rubber Company WWII  STERLING Content Marked High Explosives Fire Department Badge.

This is a World War II era badge (1942) with two-piece construction, featuring an applied blue enamel US marked central disk and numbered "40".

The PA Ordnance Works US Rubber Division manufactured TNT for aerial bombs throughout WWII.  It was located in Allentown, PA (and Williamsport, PA).

It measures 1-3/4 by 2-1/2 inches high.

The fastener is a hinged pin and safety hook catch closure. It has a stamped DES MOINES RUBBER STP WKS maker mark and STERLING SILVER content marks.
