The signs of the Zodiac are all hand-painted on terracotta with simple applied spring pin backs.  The various characters and animals are shown along with the symbol for the sign.  There are Uhren-Juwelen Karl Siegl YBBS with the old Bergplatz 13 address maker marks. The set it contained in a box that measures 6-1/4 inches by 5-3/4 inches.  Each pin averages 1 inch in diameter.

This is a pair of cast white alloy shield badges with semi-precious applied stones and press fitted spring pin closures. There is a West-German and 5. Jahrh. (Western German 5th Century) raised identification marks on the hexagonal shield and Normannische 1066 (11th century) and 0.1 maker mark on the teardrop shield. They are 1 inch high.

This is a set of four (4) cast white alloy stickpin badges. There is a Mauser K98 8x57 rifle cartridge, a potato masher grenade, an 88mm artillery shell, and a mortar round. They are about 1 inch long (the mortar shell is 1-3/8 inches high, for relative scale).

This is a set of four (4) cast white alloy spring pin badges. There is an old style battle ax, the horoscope sign for October, a fish and an owl. All have semi-precious stones applied. They are about 1 inch long (the owl is 1-1/4 inches high, for relative scale).
