German Third Reich Tinnies and Pin Badges

The 1. Garde-Ulanen Regiment was initially billeted in Potsdam in 1875. This pin is dated 1930.

It is a white metal rope frame on a three-color silk woven depiction of a horse-mounted cavalry lancer. There are "KUKEMAL" Ges. Gesch patent marks, with a KRUSE & SÖHNE BARMEN maker marks on the back. It measures 1-3/8 by 1-3/4 inches

This event was held at Bodenlietstelle in Berlin in 1938. It has the Reichsflugweltbewerb 1938 legend at the top.

This event was scheduled for 1939, however, the organization was in a temporary hiatus starting in 1938 due to the war. The organization resumed activities after the war, restarting in 1946.

The condition is excellent.

It is a well-made silver alloy custom die solid badge.  It is from the town of Reichenhall (the name of that town was changed in 1890 to Bad Reichenhall, this badge pre-dates the name change). The front of the badge features a griffin and big wheel bike.

It has Georg Linder München maker marks and Galv. Anstalt content marks and smooth finish on the back.  The pin is broken but the hook is still present.

The condition is excellent, excepting the missing pin.
