This section has a number of original period photographs, documents, and artifacts covering the period from just after the Korean War, through his run for Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia in 1965/66, and his assassination in 1967.

A studio publicity photograph of
George Lincoln Rockwell, taken during his gubernatorial run in the 1965. Note the
"trademark" corncob pipe he smoked, an affectation he acquired from one of
his early heroes, Douglas MacArthur. On his desk, a piece of stationery with
the "rebel flag" logo he used during his campaign can be seen.
It is 8 by 10 inches. The condition is near very good, with minor wrinkles and edge wear from age. There is a crease visible as a vertical line at the right side at his left elbow. |

ANP-27 ANP leader Rockwell with KKK Grand Dragon Dan Burros 1965 Photo |
This is a super-rare UPI Telephoto photograph of the leaders
of the ANP and KKK together.
George Lincoln Rockwell, taken prior to his gubernatorial run in the 1965. Note the
military A2 with fur collar. On the right side of the photo is Dan Burros,
who committed suicide after reading an newspaper expose about his Jewish
ancestry.
This photo has a lot of intriguing details, including close-up views of the ANP armband and medallion in wear. Note the airborne wing worn by one of the others in the photo. The propaganda pamplete regards North and South Carolina. The photo was taken in 1961 and published on the death of the Grand Dragon of the NY KKK. It measures 8 by 10 inches. This is the back of the photo. The condition is near very good, with minor wrinkles and edge wear from age. There is a crease visible as a vertical line at the right side at his left elbow. |

This is a complete paper, with the cover story and photo, and 4 complete pages of interior photos and narrative describing the event. The back of the 28 page paper is has a full sized photo of John Patler, the prime suspect of the shooting. Patler was a former Marine and qualified as an Expert Rifleman hit Rockwell twice, once in the head and once in the chest from a building across the parking lot. This is a 1936 dated pin, featuring the likeness of Frederick the Great of Prussia who was
one of the first European leaders to acknowledge the United States as a sovereign country in 1786.
1936 was also the founding year of the ANP.
