This is a World War II German Danzig Cross 2nd
Class with Ribbon This is a very hard to find medal. It is in exceptionally nice condition. It has a separately applied crown and crosses device on the white enamel and gilt cross. This is a close-up image of the side showing the depth of this very rare medal. Only 253 of these were awarded. The condition is near excellent, with some wear to the gilt apparent on the back. There is some soiling to the ribbon. (This is the same medal shown on the German Medals and Orders page. We only have ONE. It is shown here for convenience.) |
