This in a very scarce color variant on this patch, rendered in red, orange, black, and blue silk floss.  Note the blue and orange in the shield are reversed from the usually encountered blue and yellow.

The 26th BS flew for the 11th Bomb Wing (Gray Geese), 7th and 13th Air Force. They flew B-18 and B-24 bombers throughout WWII in the PTO.  They never flew B-29s, converting from the B-24s to the B-36 bombers following the end of the war.
