US Army Air Force Bullion Patches and Distinctive Unit Insignia

This in an interesting variant on this patch, rendered in gold and silver bullion with red silk floss on blue felted woven wool . The wings are more abbreviated than commonly seen, and an unusual border treatment. It has a tan paper backing.

The condition is near very good, with dark tarnish on the bullion and some wear to the wool nap, as shown.

The KOREA Arch is somewhat darker.  The 5th AF patch may date to WWII with the KOREA arch added during the Korean War.
