The head of the charioteer is missing as is the original felt pad at the bottom.  It shows some slight discoloration from being exposed to fire and water.

This paperweight was recovered from the burned ruins of the Reichkanzlei Building in Berlin by a US intelligence officer shortly after the end of the war before the city was cut into zones.

The gear measures 3-1/4 wide, the base is 2-5/8 inches across the flats, and it is 3 inches high. This appears to have been custom machined in one of the worker's shops. The entire devices is machined from steel, with the swastika enameled black.

This device is threaded at the base to fit a standard hose bib.  There are holes front AND rear for water to trickle out for a fountain or garden watering application.  It is maker marked BRUXELLES (Brussels) on the base.

The nozzle measures 1 inch wide, with 3/4 threads, and it is 3-3/8 inches high.

This heavy glass paperweight has an imbedded insert marked Reichs-Kanzlei Berlin in red letters with the national eagle emblem in blue and the swastika in red.

It measures about 4 inches in diameter and 2-1/2 inches high. The base is flattened.

This group was formed in the early 1930s to coordinate all the women's organizations and bring them into line with Hitler's ideas regarding women's activities.

It was recovered from the ruins of the Reichskanzlei shortly after the occupation of Berlin.

This is a very rare heavy glass leaded crystal ornament set, complete and mounted on the original numbered sample card with original paper backing.  Close-up views of the Upper Left -- Upper Right -- Lower Left and Lower Right .

Some of the names are difficult to make out because of soiling or the position of the retaining clips.  All crystals are intact and complete, showing no flaws other than soil from age.  The card shows some damage from exposure to moisture at the lower left corner.

It measures 12inches wide by 9 high overall. Each ornament measures 30mm by 40mm. The images are inset and acid etched from the flat backs and smooth and vaulted finish on the front..

US Military Government CIC Interrogator Crystal Paperweight

This heavy glass leaded crystal paperweight has an engraved representation of the emblem of the US Military Government, Europe.

This large crystal paperweight has two very minor flakes, not visible unless closely inspected.

It is named to the Interogator by his code name "Minetta" (probably for the city in Alabama) and his first name, Harold. He was working out of the Counter-Intelligence Corps office in Grafenau, Germany in 1945. The glass is engraved with his names, date, location, the hand-colored emblem, and MILITARY GOVERNMENT.

It measures 4-1/8 inches wide by 3-3/8 deep and 1-7/8 inches deep. The base and top edges are beveled.
