The blade is pinned through the tang for added strength. The knife is used, however in overall near-excellent condition. There are obvious signs of frequent sharpening on the blade. Most have very sharp points and short sharp edges. There are variations in blade style from double edge blade to triangular spikes. It is a very close-in combat weapon by design, and generally requires specific training to use effectively (as opposed to traditional knife fighting techniques).
