SA NSDAP Golden Party Badge Member Personal-Ausweis Identification

This is an extremely rare 1927 model NSDAP Red Cover SA personal identification issued in 1931 to one of the first 100,000 NSDAP party members assigned to the SA.  It has dues stamps covering all of the years from 1931 to 1938.

It has the signatures of Adolf Hitler, SS-Oberstgruppenführer Franz Xaver Schwarz (these may be an iron stamp, it is difficult to tell. This item is priced as if they are stamps), and a very clear quill pen signed Ernst Röhm signature, and Ortsleiter Enhuber (signature is difficult to read), as well as the party member Rudolf Schleicher (Party number 23392), also quill pen signed.

This ID has a wealth of detailed information on Rudolf Schleicher, a very young member of the early NSDAP (he joined the party when he was 26 years old in 1925).  The Roehm signature is dated 1.5.31.  The book is dated effective 20 Mai 31.

Included with this book is a 1946 dated photograph of Rudolf Schleicher, taken while he was a prisoner of the Allies, detained as prisoner number 110-085 in the Darmstadt internment facility.

Here are some close-up images of several of the more important pages. Pages: 8-9 -- 8 (close) -- 12-13 -- 22-23 -- 22 (close) Note that the 1946 photo is simply laying on one of the pages. It is not attached.

Offered at $2,999.99

German Embassy in WASHINGTON, DC Naval Attaché Hand Stamp

This is an extremely rare German Embassy in Washington, DC Naval Attaché hand stamp.  German Consular hand stamps are extremely rare and very seldom encountered, as they became persona non grata with the outbreak of WWII.  Stamps from Washington are the rarest and most desirable as it was the site of the main German Embassy.

The stamp is solid brass and measures 35mm in diameter and 28mm high.  The original wooden handle is not present.  There are traces of red wax from impressing a seal on a document remaining in a portion of the "g" in Washington.  The German text reads: Deutsche Borshaft der Marineattaché Washington.   A mirror image of the face of the stamp is shown here to make it easier to read.

SS Anti-Partisan Special Operations  Personal Service Records Identification
This is very RARE Antipartisan SS Special Operations Police Personal Ausweiss Identity Record Book

This Police Service ID belonged to Johannes Sumfleth, a member of the Reserve Police. After his training, he was transferred to SS-Polizei Regiment 12, based on Kiel (Special Operations). In March 1943 he was transferred to Pol.Schutzen-Rgt 31. While with this unit, he participated in two of the cruelest Anti-Partisan operations of WWII "Cottbus" and "Hermann". During those operations in middle Russia (Minsk), the unit was part of Battlegroup "Dirlewanger" (page 15 of the Dienstpass). During this action, a large area around Minsk was depopulated by murder or deportation as slave labor.

A number of atrocities was committed by the SS-Sonderbtl "Dirlewanger", members of which included convicted criminals, manics and psychopaths. In June 1944, Sumfleth returned to his duties in the Hamburg Police. The entry "Kampfgruppe Dirlwanger" is most unusual, as any proven connection with this notorious unit meant instant execution, when captured by the Russians. Although several army and police units were involved, the unit is normally never entered in personal documentation because of the gruesome reputation of the unit.

This book is extensively filled out, with a lot of quality SS and Special Operations content.
