The helmet is identified to Josef Rohringer, a member of Kalladorf No. 12, as shown by a handstamp on the liner suspension leather. Apparently, Rohringer is still alive and living in Austria, having celebrated his 80th birthday in 2007. Kalladorf is a border town in Austria directly north of Vienna on the main road north to the Czechoslovakia border. This is a close-up of the KALLADORF Austria enameled emblem applied to the front. The liner is a marked size 59 and shell size 71. There is a Heister and Müller maker mark. The skirt is stamped 4055 on the inside of the back and on the inside of the left side of the helmet with an ET 71 number, both strikes strong and easy to read.
