Here is a view of the back. This hanger is silver bullion with gilt threads on medium brown velvet with gilt fittings. Most of the gilt is worn off, however, traces remain on all pieces.

The gilt finish on the double lion's head buckle is worn, it is otherwise in near excellent condition.  The snap hanger has some chipping to the original black paint from use and carry. The white enamel maker marks retain the original paint.
