This is a small single size egg cup. It measures 2-3/4 inches high and 3-3/4 inches in diameter at the base. The cup internal diameter is 1-5/8 inches. It is maker marked similarly to the example shown above. It is not gold trimmed. These are views of the side and bottom.

Berghof Small Covered Bowl

This is a small covered bowl with separate lid. It measures 3 inches high and 5-1/4 inches from handle tip to opposite side.  The bowl is 3-1/4 inches in diameter at the top.  It is maker marked similarly to the example shown above. It is gold trimmed and shows the distinctive styling of Wolfgang von Wersin. These are views of the inside and bottom.

Fancy Trim AH China Gravy Boat

This is a linked AH monogram gravy boat with wide silver trim. It measures 3-1/2 inches high with a 6 by 9 inch attached drip base. It is marked with a Weimar maker mark on the bottom in green under the glaze, shown in close-up here. This is a view of the back.

The condition is generally near excellent signs of very little wear from use. There are no flaws or signs of damage, clearly visible in the images.

NSDAP China Cup

This is a small black enamel trimmed orange cup. It measures 3 inches in diameter and 2-3/4 inches high. It is marked with the post 1918 crown and Bareuther Bavaria maker mark on the bottom in green under the glaze, shown in close-up here. This is a view of the back.

The condition is generally good with moderate signs of wear from frequent use. There is a significant chip in the rim at the top front, clearly visible in the images.

Berghof Porcelain China Cup

This is a small cup. It measures 3-1/4 by 1-3/4 inches high. It is marked on the bottom of the cup with maker marks and mold numbers.  The china is a bright white with hand-painted gold trim.

The condition is very good to near excellent, with some slight signs of wear from frequent use. There are some minor flakes present on some places.

Berghof TWO Coffee Cup Matched Pair

This is a matched pair of small cups with a renaissance theme color transfer on one side. Each measures 3-1/4 from handle to opposite side and 1-3/4 inches high. It is marked on the bottom of the cup and saucer with maker marks and mold numbers.  The china is a bright white with hand-painted gold trim and bright clear transfer. This is a view of the two pieces shown from the side opposite the transfer, and one from the top.

The condition is very good to near excellent, with some slight signs of wear from frequent use. There are some minor flakes present on some pieces.

This is of the same pattern as the matched pair of small cups shown above with a slightly different renaissance theme color transfer on one side. It measures 3-1/4 from handle to opposite side and 1-3/4 inches high. It is marked on the bottom of the cup and saucer with maker marks and mold numbers.  The china is a bright white with hand-painted gold trim and bright clear transfer. Berghof Small Round Dish

This is of the same pattern as the matched pair of small cups shown above with no transfer. It measures 4-1/2 in diameter and 3/4 inches high. It is marked on the bottom of the dish with maker marks and mold numbers.  The china is a bright white with hand-painted gold trim.

The condition is very good, with moderate signs of wear from frequent use. There are some minor flakes present on some pieces, and wear to the gilt trim.

Berghof Small Round Dish

This is pale blue under glaze three-dimensional porcelain china plate. It measures 4-1/2 in diameter and 3/4 inches high. It is marked on the bottom of the dish with B&G København, (Copenhagen) Denmark maker marks and under glaze blue bar.

The condition is excellent.

LAH Round Small Dish

This is a small round shallow dish. It measures 3-1/4 in diameter by 3/4 inches deep. It is marked as shown above.  Additionally, it has an under glaze impressed Porzellanfabrik Fraureuth  "PF" logo and "793" pattern number.  There is an over glaze control number "514"  This is a view of the bottom of the dish.

The condition is very good to near excellent, with some slight signs of wear from frequent use.

There are no chips, flakes, cracks or repairs.

LAH Small Coffee Cup

This is a straight sided coffee cup. It measures 2 in diameter by 2-1/8 inches high. It is marked as shown above.  Additionally, it has an over glaze control number "73"

The coat of arms is rendered in heavy gilt, with a lot of unusual embellishments in the charges, surmounts and supporters.

This plate features the Reichsmarschall Presidential seal, identical to the seal used on Göring's state ring.

MITROPA was the Mitteleuropäischen Schlafwagen- und Speisewagen- Aktiengesellschaft (The Middle European Sleeping- and Dining- car company) which manufactured specialty cars for the Deutsche Reichsbahn during WWII. It does not have the DR Eagle emblem, however it is marked with the DAF swastika and gear emblem under glaze on the bottom. It is also maker marked.

This is a view of the top and back sides, showing some minor chipping and signs of long service use. It is priced accordingly.

This plate is rendered in gold leaf and green, with a very large and ornate Art Deco style EB butterfly monogram in the center.

This is a Royal Bayreuth Bavaria made plate. It has additional marks of Germany and "B8" on the back

It is in near excellent condition throughout.

This piece has GERMANY mark, a "5" and a maker mark under the glaze in the bottom. There is an incised number 7536 as well. There are visible here.

It measures 7-1/2 inches in diameter, and it has some wear to the paint apparent, as well as some cracks at the beaks of three of the geese where the beaks meet the backs of the heads of the geese in front. None are seriously distracting. There are also two one inch hairline cracks in the base, but they are not visible in normal display. The other side is seen here, and this is a view from the top.

There is moderate uniform crazing to the glaze throughout.

The plate is white with deep blue unit identification, oak leaves and acorns flanking an Iron Cross 1939 and a Flak 36 8.8cm (88mm) cannon with crew in action. This is a view of the back side of the plate.

This particular unit was assigned to the German 2nd Army, 53 Army Corps. It was active in Operation Typhoon, the unsuccessful German invasion plan for Moscow in 1941. Later, reassigned to the 16th Panzer Division (Heeres-Flak-Abt.274 (IV./Pz.Art.Rgt.16 – 16. PzDiv.) – Kdr. Obstlt. Hett (until June 1942), then Major Lang (June 1942 to Jan.1943) and was active in the siege of Stalingrad.  History (in German) is here.

This is a close-up view of the Meissen maker mark.

The plate is white with deep blue unit identification, laurel leaves surrounding the red and white Austrian shield. This unit was a member of the only German division allowed to have the distinction of carrying two sets of colors. This emblem was used by the unit from 1939 to 1941 and then the Stalingrad Cross (Deutschmeister-Kreuz) from 1943 to 1945.

This is a period unmarked plate with a 1912 full year calendar with grapes and flowers border. The central design is of the original Wright Flyer in flight over a hillside town. The advertising copy reads: "Compliments of J. F. McDONOUGH Southland Oil Well Supplies CLARENDON, PA."

This scarce charger depicts the "Meteor," (the third yacht bearing this name) glided into the water of the Newark Bay on February 25, 1902.  She was built to race the Queen's Course for the German Emperor's Cup, the German equivalent of the America's Cup.

For several years, she was the fastest boat in the world, holding the record for crossing the Atlantic Ocean, besting the old record held by the RAINBOW.

METEOR III was 161 feet over all, 120 feet on the water line, 27 feet in breadth, 18 feet 6 inches in depth, and 15 feet draft. The hull is of steel, ballasted by over a hundred tons of lead run into the trough keel. There are two steel bulkheads, one at each end, and a small steel deckhouse serves instead of the usual main companion. This deckhouse, with all the other deck joiner work, is of teak; and the metal fittings are of bronze. The deckhouse gives access to a lobby, which opens at the after end into the ladies’ cabin, of the full width of the ship, and forward into a main saloon 18 feet long and 26 feet wide. The Emperor’s stateroom is on the starboard side, immediately abaft the saloon, a room about 8 by 13 feet, with a large toilet room and bath adjoining, with another bathroom opposite on the port side. Here, too, are three staterooms for the suite. This scarce charger depicts the Grand Cross of the Iron Cross as awarded to v. Hindenburg during the Great War. He was later the second (and last) recipient of the Star of the Grand Cross of the Iron Cross (the Hindenburgstern), which can be seen in wear on his uniform in the painting on the plate.  This is a view of the back of the bowl.  It measures 10-1/2 inches by 7 inches oval and 2-1/2 inches high at the handles. It has piercework throughout.

This cup and saucer was part of a set once belonging to General Maxwell Taylor, who was Superintendent of the USMA from 1945 to 1949.  It was presented to a collector shortly after his retirement from the US Army in 1964.  It was not washed and still has visible traces of coffee in the cup and on the saucer.

This is an early-20th century period (1936) two piece set with blue transfer oak leaves and acorn embellished design on the top of the saucer and maker marked bottom. The cup has the distinctive unit insignia on the right side and a cadet on the left. This is the bottom of the cup and its maker marks.

The finish is bright and clear, with virtually no signs of wear. This set is in excellent condition, excepting the stains, as noted above.
