This award was presented to an NCO flying with 8./Kampfgeschwader 51 Wilhelm Dippel radio-air gunner assigned to the Sevastapol (Krim) area of the Eastern Front at the time of the award on August 3, 1942. He was later awarded the German Cross in Gold with the same unit on February 13, 1943.
This cup measures 20.7cm high, the base is 9.8cm in diameter, with lip of the cup measuring 10cm. The lettering at the base reads UNTEROFFIZIER WILHELM DIPPEL AM 3.8.42. and has the usual raised lettering Für besondere leistung im Luftkrieg, finely crafted by Joseph Wagner and Son. The maker and content marks read FEINSILBER ALPAKA AUFLAGE JOH. WAGNER & SOHN
These are views of the base from the direct front, right, rear, and left showing the name and lettering and some of the detail of the raised oak leaves and acorns.
The cup comes with the original Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring and Luftwaffe General Chief of Staff signed presentation document. This is a close-up of the citation and signatures with raised seal. It measures 11-3/4 inches high, and 8 inches wide. It is matted and framed measuring 12 inches wide and 15-3/4 inches high. The document has two creases from being folded in quarters long ago.
The condition is outstanding throughout, with no chips, cracks, flakes, repairs or and noticeable wear to the cup, other than routine tarnish from age and light handling. The document is near excellent, excepting the fold lines described above.
Honor cups with presentation documents are very difficult to locate and are rarely found together.

This award was presented to the National Grand Champion Winner's Cup (Reichs-Siegerpokal) of all Poultry Breeders (Geflügelzüchter) at the national competition exhibition (Ausstellung) conducted under the auspices of the R.D.Kl., the Specialized Branch (Reichsfachgruppe) directorate.
This is a very large cup, with 24K gold trim, lettering and R.D.Kl. emblem, finely crafted by Rosenthal, Germany.
These are views from the direct front, the rear, the bottom (showing the under glaze maker mark and raised wreath). Here is another view looking down from the top front and top rear. It measures 9-1/2 inches high, the top rim is 6-1/2 inches, 7-1/2 inches deep, with a 4-1/2 inch base diameter.
The condition is outstanding throughout, with no chips, cracks, flakes, repairs or and noticeable wear to the gold leaf trim.

GMA-022 Dog Handling Outstanding Achievement Table Medal |
This is a fairly scarce 1936 dated bronze medallion
presented for outstanding achievement in dog handling.
The RDH was a very prestigious organization, with roots to 1907 kennel clubs. It was run by the SS during the war, disbanded during the occupation and renamed/reformed after the war, led curiously enough, by the same SS officer (SS-Brigadeführer Mueller) that headed the organization during the war. At the time of this award, the organization was led by Count von Schwerin. This award was only presented to selected trainers at the Koln show in 1936. This particular show experienced some bad weather (from 23 to 26 April) and many trainers were unable to attend the awards ceremony. It is a very high relief medal, with eagle emblem on the front and oak leaves and acorns wreath with raised lettering on the back. It measures 2-13/16 inches in diameter. There are no apparent maker marks. This device is in excellent condition throughout. |

This is a fairly scarce 1929 dated bronze medallion
commemorating 25 years of marriage (1904-1929) between
Arthur and Margret Krupp.
Krupp-Berndorf (near Vienna, Austria) was one of the more prestigious silversmiths of Europe and the company later provided metal works during the war. Arthur Krupp was acquitted of any crimes during the Nuremberg War Crimes trials. It is a very high relief medal, with the profiles of the principals on the front and a dedication regarding their silver wedding anniversary in raised lettering on the back. fired off all six of his torpedoes, reloaded while
submerged, and in less than an hour sank the three
British armoured cruisers HMS Aboukir, HMS Hogue and HMS

This is a fairly scarce German WWI 1914-1916
Commemorative Lieutenant General von Kovess Table Medal.
The artwork on this heavy medal is by WuM (cipher) in front and rear. There is an elaborate Austro-Hungarian coat of arms on the back. It measures 2-1/8 inches in diameter. When the war started in 1914 GdI Kövess von Kövessháza was the "senior" - in age and rank - of all the corps commanders but he remained commanding the 12th corps while other and younger generals like Böhm-Ermolli and Dankl took over command of whole armies. At the outbreak of the war in August 1914, the then General Kövess led this corps to war against Russia in Galicia with simultaneous command of Armeegruppe GdI. Kövess von Kövessháza which was in fact the lead elements of 2.Armee en route from the Balkan theatre. Reverting to his corps command during the autumn and winter of 1914 the 12th corps suffered heavy causalities first commanded by the 3rd Army of Brudermann and then by the 2nd Army of Böhm-Ermolli. Kövess received the war decoration to the previously awarded grand cross of the Order of the Iron Crown on the 5th of October 1914 This is a very high relief medal, with his profile and his name with raised lettering It is in good to very good condition, with some minor signs of its age. |

commemorating the reign of Frederick The Red Beard from
1152 to 1190.
As the Duke of Swabia (as Friedrich III, 1147–90) and German king and Holy Roman emperor (1152–90), he challenged papal authority and sought to establish German predominance in western Europe. He died while on the Third Crusade to the Holy Land. It measures 42mm in diameter and has no paint of the rim. It is a very high relief medal, with the date and raised lettering on the back. A profile of the emperor is shown on the front with his name and dates of birth and death. It has no apparent maker marks. This is a very unusual plaque of the early Reiter-SS (later Waffen-SS) members for service in the cavalry in WWI and WWII. This award was presented to one of the early members of the SS cavalry, a recipient of the Iron Cross 1st Class 1914 (a vaulted prinzen size medal is separately attached, showing the reverse side of the medal). He later was part of the Florian Geyer Division. A detailed image of the large St Christopher medal is shown here and the SS eagle is shown here. This is the back of the plaque. This is a very unusual plaque of the early Deutschen Reiterjugend of the SA members for service in the cavalry in WWI and WWII. This award was presented for exceptional service in the German youth riding program of the SA in the name of Adolf Hitler. There is a raised inscription on the back with a facsimile Hitler signature. A detailed image of a stallion standing within an oak leaf wreath and national eagle on the front. The back of the plaque has the inscription and SA lightning bolt emblem. This is a very unusual trophy, presented for 30 years of service to the aviation industry, presented to one of the stellar pioneers of the aviation industry. This award was presented to the German Airship Transport Company Deutsche Luftschiffahrts-Aktien-Gesellschaft (DELAG) which was the first commercial air transport company in the world, founded on 16 November, 1909 by Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin. A detailed image of the award plate is shown here. It was presented in Berlin 17 October, 1939, by the official German finance agency. This is a cast metal eagle with spread wings on a mountaintop aerie with a prop (slightly moveable mounted to the front. The base is marble, with a felt bottom. It shows signs of wear from routine display and age. It is 6-1/2 inches high, with a 9 inch wing span. The base measures 4-3/4 by 3-3/4 inches. The condition is near excellent. |

This is a scarce plaque for the Artillerie Regiment
assigned to the SS-Junkerschule Sonthofen at Ordendsburg.
It has a motto at the bottom reading "Wachen und Warten" (Watch and Wait) and one below that reading "Abwehren und Abschliessen" (Seek and Destroy (by shooting)). The exact regiment is not identified. From the colors on the shield, it may have been an air defense flak artillery unit. There is the unit emblem with a tricolor (red, blue, gray) shield and winged artillery shell. The award is in near excellent condition throughout. There is a catch on the back for mounting. There are a number of raised, impressed and painted maker marks on the back of the tile The tile is approximately 5-3/4 inches square in a 7 inch square wooden fitted frame. |

The 37mm projectile is dated 1937 The medallion featuring an antitank rifle crew in action and a displayed imperial eagle are separately applied on a chiseled marble base. battery commander (Luftwaffe) as a marksmanship award for
100 combat kills.
It has a luftwaffe rangefinder stature in full military kit using the portable range finder optical device mounted on a fancy marble base. The bronze plated alloy statue is mounted on a pedestal of mottled brown marble complete with wool felt pads. There are no maker marks. This is a view from the back. This is a sporting award heavy marble tablet on marble base with an applied silver plated sports eagle device. It once had a plaque describing what the presentation was for, however, it is not present. There are two wood plugged 1/8 inch drilled holes for mounting screws, 1-7/8 inches center to center. The tablet portion measures 4-1/4 inches wide, 5-5/8 inches high, by 3/4 inches thick. The base is 5-3/8 by 2-3/8 by 3/4 inches. The eagle is 2-3/4 by 3-1/4 high. This is a view of the back and one from the base. The award is in generally good to very good condition throughout, with some moderate wear from age. |
